Document Management
The Document Management Center provides you with a merge form capability allowing you easily generate letters, memos, and e-mails. GoldMine has features to enable you to print a letter for one contact, print a letter for a group of contacts, and print labels and envelopes. GoldMine also allows you to directly fax these documents instead of printing them, provided your word processor supports facsimile transmission.
Document Management

Activity list
The Activity List provides an alternative view for activities, telling you what you must do to stay on track. You can view the pertinent details of an activity, display the contact record linked to a particular activity, use the auto-dialer to call the contact, complete the activity, and save vital reference information in the history file.

Answer wizard – GoldMine Corporate Edition ONLY
If you are using GoldMine Corporate Edition with an SQL database, the Answer Wizard reports provide a quicker way to produce reports based on GoldMine data. There are a variety of predefined Answer Wizard reports from which you can select the one best suiting your needs. The Answer Wizard is installed when you select Management Intelligence during a custom installation of GoldMine Business Contact Manager Corporate Edition.

Automated Processes
Automated Processes™ allow you to set up a series of predefined actions to be performed on any group of contacts in the database, automating routine tasks. Several of the actions, or events (Step-by-step instructions contained in an Automated Process, or track, that GoldMine must evaluate to perform a specified series of activities. An event consists of a trigger and an action. An Automated Process consists of a sequence of one or more events), can be linked together to form a track (A sequence of two or more events, which are the step-by-step instructions that GoldMine evaluates to perform a defined series of activities. Also known as an Automated Process.)
Automated Processes have two main components: tracks and events. The events within each track are set to perform an action when triggered by on a defined condition.

GoldMine Analysis
The Statistical Analysis of Completed Activities dialog box displays completed activity information for an individual user, a group of users, or on a system-wide basis. The analysis of completed activities can provide useful insight into your performance or the performance of others in your organization.

You can review the current status of sales efforts by analyzing how each member of the sales team is meeting quota for a specified period. This analysis uses data about the assigned quota, forecast sales, completed sales, and lost sales to derive either a percentage of quota or a percentage of forecast sales attained by a salesperson. Because GoldMine analyzes data by period, a "track record" for each salesperson can be seen via listings over multiple periods.

GoldMine’s Lead Analysis enables managers to track valuable information on the current status of sales efforts, and on the effectiveness of various advertising and promotional efforts in generating inquiries and sales. Used in this way, GoldMine becomes a strategic asset. GoldMine provides timely and accurate information to help managers make better decisions on deploying their resources.

Opportunity Manager
The Opportunity Manager lends itself to a complex sales process involving a group of users working as a team with multiple organizations and contacts. The sale may involve multiple products or services as a package deal where the customer purchases a part of the package, but renegotiates other parts into a different package

The Opportunity and Project Manager windows allow you to view all the details of the opportunity or project from initial contact to a closed sale. The sales team can view summary and detailed information about forecasted sales and activities linked to the opportunity. As the project or opportunity progresses, a complete record of all associated activities ensure that the team is making a coordinated effort to complete the sale. The team is also able to see the decision-makers and linked contacts in the project and act accordingly. The templates and the ability to attach Automated Processes use the full capabilities of GoldMine.

Web import
Using a web page to create records from a web page. Customer will fill out a web site and hit submit. This will then go to the mailbox and import the customer into GoldMine. Then an Automated Process can be automatically attached fro example; to schedule a call for the sales rep by territory, print out company overview, and send follow e-mail.

This video overviews the power of searching e-mail capabilities and how e-mails are automatically linked to the contact record, then filed into the history tab and filed by month.

InfoCenter
GoldMine’s InfoCenter provides a resource for maintaining any type of information useful to an organization or an individual. Just as information is not limited to text files, the InfoCenter can provide easily accessible storage for any information, including graphics, multimedia files, and program applications. This information can then be linked to a Contact Record, so GoldMine displays the record automatically whenever you access that topic. The information in the InfoCenter is stored in the InfoMine table.

The InfoCenter consists of three separate resources:
KnowledgeBase: Maintains information created by, for, and about an organization and available to multiple users.
PersonalBase: Maintains information useful to an individual user that only the user can view and update.
What’s new?: Presents KnowledgeBase items in reverse chronological order, keeping users aware of current material.
The KnowledgeBase and the PersonalBase organize topic pages, which are items of related information arranged in a hierarchical structure similar to an outline format. You can quickly find information by navigating through different sections or by conducting a search. You can even open a linked file created by another application, such as a document, bitmap graphic, multimedia file, or a program application.

The Contact Search Center provides a central, powerful, search window, allowing you to find one Contact Record or groups of records based on specific criteria.

OmniRush Overview
OmniRush has a communication module and a commerce module that can be combine together for a total solution.

Communication Module key components:
Inbound and Outbound faxing from GoldMine and any windows program with printing capabilities
HTML e-mail, direct mail, and faxing merging capabilities for single or group of GoldMine contacts
Voice Processing that calls contact(s) and allows Yes/No via a touch tone telephone
Integrated Document Management Center with version control
Optional Acrobat PDF capabilities
