Project Manager
The Project Manager is a useful tool to manage long-term projects. It not only allows users to view tasks and details related to the Project, but any activity scheduled within GoldMine® can be assigned to the Opportunity or Project.
The top half of the Project Manager lists all projects, categorized by Stage, for the selected User (specified in at the top right of the Project Manager window). The tabs on the bottom half of the window display the details for the selected Project. Projects are classified by "Stages, which can range from Initial Contact to Closed.

ContactsThis tab lists the contacts at the Company upon which the project is built. Adding and making changes here will also be reflected in the main contact record.

NotesThis tab provides a blank area to store any information that is not time sensitive, contact or user related, or necessary to report on. e.g.

TasksA task is an item, usually one of many, which must be completed for a Project to be completed. They are usually sequenced, sometimes overlapping; to outline the steps needed to complete the Project.

Details/LinksSimilar to the Links tab in the main contact record, this is a place to attach details and documents related to the Project, e.g. budget spreadsheets, installation diagrams, authorization letters, etc.

TeamTeam Members are GoldMine® users and other contacts (who may or may not be in the database) who are working on this project. The Team tab gives you an opportunity to define each member's role.

PendingPending tab reflects scheduled activities within GoldMine® that are linked to the selected Project.
|

IssuesThe Issues tab lists items that need to be identified, and possibly addressed, before various stages of the Project can continue.
