User groups provide a method for controlling access to information and even menu items in the application.

• User Groups may be created in GoldMine. Individual users may be members of one or multiple user groups.



• Scheduling User Groups to calls, appointments, next actions, and forecasted sales automatically places the information on each of the users individual calendars.



• Contact groups can be scheduled to a Users Group and the workload can be automatically distributed among the users in the group.



• Distribution of communications such as E-mail can be distributed to Workgroups by selecting a User Group.



• Reports can be filtered using the Workgroup as the condition for the filter.



• Security for entire contact records, specific fields, report data, e-mails, linked documents, info center information and much more can be controlled via the User Group membership.



• Synchronization of data to remote sites can also be controlled by the User Group membership.
